Langhorne Tax & Bookkeeping Inc. was established and opened for business in November of 1991. Since opening for the tax season in 1992 our company has grown from 2 employees to 6 employees. Our satisfied tax clients have grown from 150 in 1992 to over 1000 in 2015. Our payroll service has grown to 75 businesses throughout the United States.
Ellyn Schoen has been preparing taxes since 1984. She began as a seasonal employee for H&R Block in Bucks County, PA. She worked for 4 years as a preparer at which time she was promoted to office manager and given the added responsibilities of teaching the tax course to the public as well as other tax preparers. Ellyn has experience in preparing all types of tax returns on both the Federal and State level. Commitment to keeping up on the ever-changing tax laws, Ellyn completes at least 24 hours of continuing education each year. She is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals and National Association of Enrolled Agents. In 1999, Ellyn earned the Internal Revenue Service’s Enrolled Agent designation.
